CCC End-to-End Interoperability Plugfests allow attendees to test their CCC Digital Key™ implementations against other member companies’ implementations to discover, and to investigate and to troubleshoot any possible problems. Identified issues will improve technical specifications, test documents and test tools.
The 14th Plugfest will further CCC Digital Key™ interoperability testing. We will be bringing any of our newly developed Digital Key Version 4 test cases and a variety of OEM test cases to China. In addition, we aim to demonstrate the use of Bluetooth sniffing as a way to strengthen our Bluetooth testing capabilities. Of course, the existing NFC testing as well as our traditional remote keyless entry and passive entry test cases are available for in-depth testing. Some of the NFC test cases might be already updated, to resolve bugs and inconsistencies, which have been reported in past plugfests.
We invite vehicle and end-user device manufacturers to bring their CCC Digital Key™ implementations. We are looking for Digital Key version 3 and version 4 implementations. In the scheduled test session, these devices will be tested against each other. This will enable testing of version 4 implementations against other version 4, as well as other version 3 implementations. Results from the test sessions will help identify possible version 4 candidate IDL devices. This is a great opportunity for those who would like to be considered as an IDL device for Digital Key Version 4.
We invite Bluetooth test equipment vendors to participate with their Bluetooth sniffing solutions. We are planning dedicated full-day test sessions with selected vehicle and end-user device implementations to complete validation of any remaining test cases, and any remaining issues with the participating Bluetooth test equipment.
We invite UWB test equipment vendors to demonstrate how such test tools will benefit our members and the CCC. Participating members will be able to discuss and see how these tools can support product development and may support future certification testing. We will either schedule dedicated test sessions for these test tools, or they will be invited to join regular test sessions.
We invite a limited number of authorized End-to-End Interoperability laboratories to participate in the plugfest to help with conducting tests for the published test cases (Part 1 – 5). We are asking laboratories to bring their IDL End-User Devices and the Comprion test tool.
Test sessions will happen in parallel. Attendees bringing a vehicle implementation will have an assigned meeting space. Note that meeting room space for vehicle test benches offer visual privacy, shared only with the testing partner(s) and CCC staff. Full vehicles may share garage space with other participants. Participants are expected to attend and actively engage in the full five-day event to ensure fairness and provide all attendees with the opportunity to collaborate and test with other member companies.
